What must stay off the floor?

The balloon. Your team must keep it airborne while navigating obstacles. The official description explicitly mentions using hands, heads or other body parts; it does not reduce success to reaching an exit while ignoring the balloon.

What happens on failure?

The Steam description says failing the task results in incineration. It also describes running out of lives and the last balloon taking the whole team with it. The source does not give this guide a verified starting life count, checkpoint table or complete retry sequence.

Do not turn the balloon-off-floor rule into an invented claim that every surface is safe. The exact collision behavior of each obstacle needs checking in the current game.

Can you hit teammates?

The official description jokes about slapping teammates and variable success rates. That confirms the interaction as part of the premise, not a reliable shortcut or damage strategy.

How can a team protect the balloon more deliberately?

Try watching its direction before committing the next touch. Call the next receiver, and avoid making every player chase the same trajectory. These are general coordination suggestions rather than measured physics values or a proven speedrun technique.

Show the shortest practical reminder

Move the team and protect the balloon as one task. Confirm who takes the next touch before everyone changes position.

Compare fan scenes with spike and laser hazards. Use multiplayer basics to agree your calls, or return to the scene guide.

Which source defines the rule?

The official Steam game description, checked 22 October 2026. This page does not claim hands-on verification of every demo failure state.
